Join us for a walk and talk to discover the green parts of Eindhoven. No less than two thirds of this walking route follows the paths through the parks in the city, along the Dommel river.
We’ll be strolling through the Lex and Edo Hornemannplantsoen, Stadswandelpark, Dommelplantsoen and the Anne Frankplantsoen. Then we’ll make our way back to the station, crossing the city centre to finish where we started off.
The walk will be around 6 km and is an easy paced non-competitive walk, lasting about 1-2 hours. Our stroll will be on designated paths, so you don’t need to be an experienced hiker to be able to join in.
Halfway through the route we’ll take a short break at one of the parks. Please bring your own water or other drink and some snacks to enjoy.
We’ll need to keep the walk dog free. Only in case of heavy rain or storm will the walk be cancelled.
Please keep in mind the coronavirus (COVID-19) guidelines as set by the Dutch government. Keeping 1.5 metres apart from each other applies.
Do you or one of your household members have cold symptoms, such as a nasal cold, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, mild cough, shortness of breath and/or elevated temperature? Do NOT join the walk, avoid social contacts and get tested.
More information on the guidelines can be found here:
To avoid a crowd and to be able to keep our 1.5 meters distance, this walk will be limited to 8 people. So please, only RSVP if you’re serious about joining in.
If you can’t make it and have RSVP-ed, please un-RSVP so other members are able to register for the walk.
