During the festival Midzomergracht in Utrecht the movie ‘Moonlight’ will be shown in an open air cinema at the Domsquare.
From 21st unto 28th of June the MidZomerGrachtfestival will take place in Utrecht. Since 1997 the Midzomergracht wishes to exhibit gender & sexual diversity in all its appearances: Let’s Celebrate Love.
The story of Moonlight focusses on 3 chapters of the life of the main character, an Afro-American man: his youth, his puberty and his maturity. He grows up in the turbulent black community in the city of Miami. The movie won 3 Oscars in 2017 for best movie, best supportive male actor and best scenario. The movie was also nominated for Oscars for best supportive female actress, best director, best original music, best camera and best film editing.

The movie will start at 22.30/10.30pm and ends at 23.45/11.45pm.
At the square there s a limited number of seats available. You can bring your own seat.
