Join me for a day-trip to Utrecht for the third edition of the Utrecht Canal Pride. Watch and support the cheerful procession of boats from the LGBT+ community. Utrecht will be coloured in all the colours of the rainbow!
We’ll go to Utrecht by train and meet up with Coen and others from the national group at noon. Together we’ll search for a spot to have the best view of the parade.
Take your own seat or pillow, rainbow flag and your basket full of beverages and snacks.
11:00 – Meet up at Eindhoven Station (track / spoor 4)
11:07 – Catch the intercity train to Utrecht Centraal
12:00 – Join the others from Gay & LesBian Social The Netherlands
12:30 – Find a good spot and watch the parade
15:00 – End time
The end time of the meetup in Utrecht is set to 3 o’clock. But you can continue to celebrate until the last train… or later 😉
A round-trip train ticket from Eindhoven to Utrecht Centraal costs €30,40 at full price and €18,24 with 40% discount. You are responsible for your own ticket / OV check-in.
ABOUT UTRECHT CANAL PRIDE
After two years, the Canal Pride is already a new tradition in Utrecht. Last year 41 boats appeared at the start and the boat parade attracted 50.000 visitors.
You can encourage the parade along the entire Oudegracht on the side and at the yards. After the parade you can continue partying at various street parties and after parties.
ABOUT GAY & LESBIAN SOCIAL THE NETHERLANDS
The G&L-NL people are a bunch of friendly faces who organize events where Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender people of all ages and nationalities can meet and socialize.
